Toilets/Showers
Please only use the toilet allocated to you. Campers must use the toilet/showers up the stairs to the far left of the shower block. Glampers will be allocated their own shower/toilet for their sole use for the duration of your stay. Please don’t put wet wipes or sanitary products down the toilet even if they claim to be biodegradable, they will block our whole septic tank drainage system and cause bad smells – we treat waste on site.

Communal Kitchenette
Guests have access to a small kitchenette with single electric hob, toaster, microwave and larder fridge. We are planning to get a small freezer but do let us know if you need us to refreeze freezer blocks.

Dogs
-
Well behaved dogs are welcome, we do charge an additional pet fee per stay please add this when you make your booking.
-
All dogs must be kept on leads at all times. You may let them off the lead in the front field when it is not in use.
-
Do not allow your dog to poop on the camping field as there are often little children running about. Please clear up after them.
-
Do not leave your dog unattended if you leave the site.
-
Do not allow them on the beds or soft furnishings if you are glamping or staying in the cottage.
-
Please always adhere to the countryside code, on site and when out and about.

BBQs and Fires
-
Any fires must be in the fire pit provided. We ask that you keep the fire pit a minimum of 3m from any structures, ideally on top of the slab provided, be mindful of wind direction and long grass and put fires out with water before bed. Watering cans can be found by the shower block. There is a metal bin by the shower block for you to empty ash into.. Please familiarise yourself with the Safety Guide (copy on the wall in the communal kitchen) and by the toilets.
-
Wood must be purchased on site.
-
BBQs must be kept off the grass. Cold coals & ash in the metal ash bin only.
-
Please return your fire pit/grill empty and clean if you hired one.
Rubbish and Waste
-
Do not dispose of any wet wipes or sanitary products down the toilets. We are off mains drainage so from time to time there can be a smell often caused by people putting incorrect waste down the toilet!
-
Please separate your rubbish and recycle as much as possible. Bins can be found just past the shower block.

Honesty Shop
-
If you would like to hire a fire pit or purchase wood or anything else from the honesty shop, please write down what you have purchased on a form available in the communal kitchen. Pin the form up on the notice board in the kitchen and settle up before you leave. There is an honesty tin and bank details in the communal kitchen. If you would like to pay by card, please just send me Whatsapp (07825605277) and I’ll pop over with a card reader.

Car Parking
-
Our car park can be busy at certain times of the year. Please avoid bringing more than one car and park considerately.
-
Please no vans unless pre-agreed.
-
If you block anyone in, please leave a note with contact details on your windscreen so people can get in touch should they need to leave. There may be occasions where we may ask you to park on our driveway which is not far at all from the pitches.
